
On 1979 the Rubiralta family found the Bioquímica Aplicada ( IBA) Company, manufacturing surgical white coats. This Company is created in the WERFEN Group. Two years latter, it changes it's name due to commercial matters and in order to enable pronunciation in every language, becoming the actual LEVENTON, S.A.U. As early as 1981 the company already manufactured electrodes, packed and sterilised nasogastric catheters and also packed "in vitro" reactive. At that time is assigned to LEVENTON, S.A.U. the design and manufacturing of a flow regulator. Thus, in 1982 the Dosiflow 1 and the Dosiflow 10 (1987) were originated, turning to be the Company's Star products. Since then, LEVENTON, S.A.U. has incorporated to it's catalogue different Sanitary products such as Arterial Pressure Tubes ( 1982 ), cardiology catheters ( 1987-1992 ), Respiratory exerciser ( 1998 ), Vandages ( 1999 ), Elastomeric Infusion Pump( 2002 ) and now the new respiratory incentivator ( 2002 ).

Our expansion on the international market is initiated since 1986 with the entrance of Spain in the European Community, arriving on the beginning of the 90's to represent half of the company invoicing. In 1993 is signed a contract to manufacture flow regulators ( Dosi-Flow ) for the American market. This fact made export invoicing grow up on a 75%. This international expansion has been being consolidated since then, turning up to now on an 85% of invoicing, which a 20% corresponds to USA. LEVENTON, S.A.U. is a Spanish manufacturer of medical devices located close to Barcelona, one of the most active cities in Spain.
